Description

Cruise the Great Sandy Strait of World Heritage Fraser Island, Queensland with Rainbow Beach Houseboats. No licence is required. Suitable for two to 10 people (recommend two to three couples or a family group).

The boats are fully self-contained and are maintained in excellent condition. They are a family owned and operated business with 11 years experience. The only houseboat company to offer you exclusive mooring buoys and GPS Chart Plotters with colour charts and digital sounders.

The waterway is an excellent playground for fishing, crabbing, exploring and relaxing. Dolphins, dugong, turtles and see sea birds feeding on sand banks. Yabbies at low tide. Whiting, Bream and Flathead. Photo opportunities.

Cancellation Information:
The deposit will be refunded less a AUD250.00 administration fee if a minimum of 60 days notice is given in writing. A refund will not be given if the booking cannot be re-let for the same period. Cancellations must be received in writing.

Rainbow Beach Houseboats are a long established Houseboat Hire company. They have been operating for 11 years. Their vessels are well maintained and they offer excellent personal service. You are in control after a friendly run through of all the operations and navigation. They monitor you on VHF marine radio. You will be cruising in the sheltered waters of the Great Sandy Strait of World heritage Fraser Island, Queensland. It is a totally relaxing holiday and you have the opportunity to catch a feed of fish and crabs in the creeks. The area is a natural paradise you must see once at least, but after you come you will be hooked on houseboat holidays.

Rainbow Beach Houseboats are located two and a half hours north of Brisbane, one and a half hours north of Noosa, and one and a half hours south of Hervey Bay. Follow the Bruce Highway from Brisbane to Gympie. Take the Tin Can Bay Rainbow Beach roads to Rainbow Beach. Take the first turn left in Rainbow Beach Carlo Road, and drive two and a half kilometres down Carlo Road to their departure facility.
