Cruise the Great Sandy Strait of World Heritage Fraser Island, Queensland aboard your Executive 45 foot or Luxury 45 foot Houseboat with Rainbow Beach Houseboats. No licence is required and the boats are suitable for two to 10 people.

The boats are fully self-contained and are maintained in excellent condition. Rainbow Beach Houseboats are a family owned and operated business, and have 11 years experience hiring houseboats. They are the only houseboat company to offer you exclusive mooring buoys and GPS chartplotters with colour charts and digital depth sounders. Their rates are affordable.

The Rainbow Beach area is an excellent water playground for fishing, crabbing, exploring and relaxing. You'll be visited each day by dolphins, dugong, turtles and see sea birds feeding on sand banks. Yabbies can be pumped at low tide a days fishing, and there are whiting, bream and flathead in the estuaries. There are plenty of photo opportunities with vivid sunsets and some great rainbows too.

Cancellation Information:
The deposit will be refunded less a AUD250.00 administration fee if a minimum of 60 days notice is given in writing. A refund will not be given if the booking cannot be re-let for the same period. Cancellations must be received in writing.

You are in control after a friendly run through of all the operations and navigation. They monitor you on VHF marine radio. You will be cruising in the sheltered waters of the Great Sandy Strait of World heritage Fraser Island, Queensland. It is a totally relaxing holiday and you have the opportunity to catch a feed of fish and crabs in the creeks. The area is a natural paradise you must see once at least, but after you come you will be hooked on houseboat holidays.

Rainbow Beach Houseboats are located two and a half hours north of Brisbane, one and a half hours north of Noosa, and one and a half hours south of Hervey Bay. Follow the Bruce Highway from Brisbane to Gympie. Take the Tin Can Bay Rainbow Beach roads to Rainbow Beach. Take the first turn left in Rainbow Beach Carlo Road, and drive two and a half kilometres down Carlo Road to their departure facility.
