The reliable Landrover fleet includes automatic and manual vehicles - from competitively priced two-person vehicles to larger Landrover Defenders that seat five to eight people.
They are perfect in the sandy conditions that you encounter when exploring World Heritage listed Fraser Island. Miscellaneous:
Three day notice minimum for changes/cancellations. Failure to do so results in applicable cancellation fee.
Hirers are required to stay within the confines of the map provided at time of hire. Drivers must be over 21 and possess a current, valid drivers licence.
Hire includes comprehensive briefing, National Parks approved four wheel driving instructional video and introductions to Fraser Island. Tide correlated itinerary is also provided. Full comprehensive insurance included in the daily hire rate. Excess applies. All cover becomes null and void if terms and conditions of hire agreement are breached during period of hire. Credit card imprint required at hire commencement. Camping equipment available upon request. Advance bookings require credit card name and number to hold reservation. Hire is based on a calendar day rate. Any day, or part thereof, is considered as a full day for hire purposes. Vehicle to be picked up no later than two hours before barge departure time and returned within one hour of barge arriving back on the mainland, unless prior arrangements are made.
Located two kilometres from Fraser Coast Airport, on the way to River Heads barge. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off from the airport or accommodation can be arranged.
