Coochie Boat Hire, located in beautiful Moreton Bay, we hire Barbecue Pontoons, Tinnies, Kayaks, Canoes and Aqua Bikes, right off the beach at Coochiemudlo Island.

Coochiemudlo is a subtropical paradise nestled in Moreton Bay about half an hour from Brisbane. Step back in time and feel the relaxed pace of island life and enjoy a day at the beach on Coochiemudlo Island.

You can leisurely paddle a kayak around the island in under two hours, fish from the tinnies or plan a day out on the barbecue pontoon with family and friends. Have fun exploring the secluded beaches, melaleuca wetlands and ancient mangrove forests which, are the island's best natural features and host a myriad of birdlife and native fauna.

Beach hire is open every weekend and every day of the Queensland school holidays from September - May. Tinnies and Barbecue Pontoons are available every day year 'round.

Coochie Boat Hire have everything you need to explore the waters of Moreton Bay and Coochiemudlo Island. Tinnies for fishing, sightseeing, or just relaxing on the water. Kayaks for the "back to Nature" experience or Aqua Bikes for the kids to play on while you relax on the beach. For bigger groups the Barbecue Boat is a great day out for up to 10 people.

How To Get There:
Drive your car or take a bus to Victoria Point (just south of Cleveland), hop onto the ferry, (Ferry takes about five to six minutes and costs AUD3.40) they leave every half an hour, on the hour and half hour. When you get to Coochie you can Coochie Boat Hire right on the beach next to the jetty where the ferry dropped you off.

Barbecue Boats

The barbie pontoon comfortably takes 10 people, comes with all safety equipment and includes gas for the barbecue, fuel for the boat and no boat license is necessary.
