Description

A new look Have A Go Festival with more hands on opportunities, more demonstrators and a spectacular new twilight event will take place at Cobb+Co Museum. The event will now be held over just one weekend, and visitors will be able to try their hand at a range of skills and trades including glass art, blacksmithing, leather plaiting, sandstone sculpture, lacemaking and millinery.

There will also be a range of mini workshops where participants will create something they can take home and proudly show off to their friends and family.

Children:
A visit to the museum is made easy for parents with young children with facilities and services including: Parents Room; Baby Care Room; High chairs available in the cafe; Children's interactive play area, The Coach Stop; and Play Pit in Cobb's Coffee Shop.

Disabled:
All entrances and areas in Cobb and Co are wheelchair accessible. Additional facilities include: ramp access and disabled toilet facilities. A wheelchair is available for use within the Museum. It is free of charge and subject to availability. Seating is provided around the Museum, including Cobb's Coffee Shop. Their exhibitions and programs include elements that can be seen, heard and touched. Carers Companion Card: They recognise the Queensland Government's Companion Card program.

How To Get There

Brown tourist road signs throughout Toowoomba will direct you to the Museum.

If you are travelling from Brisbane, turn right at the top of the range and left into Margaret Street. Turn right into Lindsay Street at the first roundabout.

They are just the other side of Queen's Park and near the windmill display.
