Description
The Annual Gourmet in Gundy festival has been staged in the Goondiwindi Region for the past 13 years. The weekend showcases regional activities and events such as Gourmet Art Exhibition, Macintyre Club Fly in, Goondiwindi Open Gun Shoot, The Spring Cup Races and Dragon Boat Races. The food, wine, art and music festival on Sunday is set in the beautiful Community Centre gardens on the Macintyre River. This features their fine food, award winning wines, talented local artist with live music. The event theme ""paddock to plate"" relates to the relaxed lifestyle in rural regions. Gourmet in Gundy is the most popular social weekend in their region's calendar year.

Gourmet in Gundy is the 2011 Winner of Queensland Regional Achievement and Community Awards- Best Event and Tourism Category. This is their 14th annual event and is the biggest social weekend in the Goondiwindi Region calendar year.
How To Get There:
Gourmet in Gundy weekend activities are located at various venues in the town. The Gourmet Food and Wine festival on Sunday at the Community Centre on The Macintyre River on Russell Street. From the centre of town head west on Marshall (State route 85) continue through two roundabouts. Community Centre is located on the left just after Short Street.
