Frankland Islands Cruises operates a 22 metre, Eco Friendly catamaran to the Frankland Islands and surrounding coral Reef daily. They are the only commercial operator visiting Normanby Island and the Frankland Islands group, rest assured that your day is an intimate affair shared with only a select few.

The day begins with a leisurely cruise down the magnificent Mulgrave River. Learn about the area's unique flora and fauna while taking in the beauty of the surrounding rainforest clad hills. At the mouth of the river, the stunning Frankland Islands slowly come into view and it is only a short open-water crossing to the destination for the day. Frankland Islands is a snorkeller's dream! You will drift over an amazing variety of corals and marine life, including fish, sea turtles, and octopus that inhabit the area. For the less intrepid, the guided snorkelling tour, which is included in the fare, offers a chance to discover and interact with the reef under the guidance of marine naturalists.

Cancellation Information:
100 per cent cancellation fee is charged if you are a no show on the day of travel. No cancellation fee applies if cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to day of travel.

Tours depart from Deeral Landing - Deeral (35 minutes drive south of Cairns).

Pickup is available from Cairns and surrounding accommodation. A family rate for four is also available, please contact the operator for more information. Please note that AUD16.00 is to be paid on boarding (this cost is in addition to the listed rates).
