Wasabi Restaurant and Bar relocated to Noosa Sound in 2009 after six successful years in Sunshine Beach. It now sits overhanging the scenic Noosa River opposite the Noosa Recreation Reserve, in Quamby Place.
Owner and 2009 Young Restaurateur of the Year, Danielle Gjestland, has designed a fashionable space with a strong sense of attention to design detail. The entirely waterfront dining space has spectacular river views with amazing sunset vistas by day and a warm, contemporary, intimate dining space by night. For a traditional Japanese experience, the tatami room seating for 20 is on a mezzanine level overlooking the dining room. The more formal western dining room seats 30 with an additional private room for up to eight guests.
... moreRecognised by Gourmet Traveller as Queensland's number 1 regional restaurant and ranked in their Top 100 national restaurant list, Wasabi's food has a contemporary sensibility that is still deep-rooted in Japanese purity.
Whether it's a celebration, a long lazy lunch on the river or just your local Japanese eatery, whatever the occasion their mission is to make it a memorable dining experience.
