Built in 1851 the Grand View - the GV to the locals, is Queensland's oldest licensed hotel. Uniquely positioned overlooking North Stradbroke Island, the Grand View presents al fresco dining, a gaming lounge and stylish function facilities set in a lovingly restored heritage atmosphere. The famous seafood and steaks highlight an extensive char grill menu.

There's live entertainment every weekend, including regular ""Jazz at the GV"" and other special events like Wine Dinners, Art Gallery Exhibitions, Wine Tastings, Book Lunches and annual events like the Jazz Festival in June and the Red Wine Affair in July take place throughout the year.

Dine in the Verandah Restaurant and enjoy the ambiance and charm of the unique heritage rooms and verandahs, well enhanced by stunning views overlooking Moreton Bay.

The Emu Point Garden Restaurant offers the best in al fresco dining with excellent food in superb surroundings and outstanding views of Moreton Bay, including a Sunday breakfast overlooking the bay.

From an intimate ceremony to a grand occasion the Grand View has it all. The heritage Cleveland Room and Courtyard is perfect for an intimate wedding or function while the Emu Point Garden Restaurant offers spacious marquees, lawns and elevated heritage-style gazebos.
