Description

Gourmet Traveller Magazine described the Spirit House as 'a tropical film set that takes your breath away. Like the setting, the food is breathtaking.'

Clustered around a tranquil pond, the restaurant setting is magical, a temple style main building with covered courtyard tables set in lush tropical gardens dotted with Thai sculptures. A larger Balinese style courtyard provides the perfect venue for wedding ceremonies.

At night the garden setting turns into a magical wonderland as flares and lights reflect in the water. The music is the music of nature, ducks, frogs, birds against the background tinkling of temple bells.

Spirit House chefs cook the most wonderful, sensitive and fragrant Thai inspired food. So popular is their food, that the chefs conduct daily classes every week in the purpose built, 'hands-on' cooking school.

These classes demystify Asian ingredients and cooking methods and are a great day out with a group of friends. Limited to 18 per class, cook four to six recipes each class, then wine and dine on your efforts over a leisurely lunch in a garden dining pavilion.

A visit to the Spirit House is a treat for all your senses, sight, sound, scent and of course, taste.
