Paddywhacks Restaurant and Bar on Shields Street, look for the Blues Brothers out the front, has a reputation as one of the most popular casual dining locations in Cairns. Not only is it the place to eat well with their pocket friendly prices, it is also the place to have fun, with a unique atmosphere and ambience.

Locals are lured by the specialty Steak Menu - 300 grams to one kilogram, fresh seafood, pasta and Australian Cuisine. Visitors love to sample dishes such as Barbecue Bush Platter, Barbecue Seafood Platter, kangaroo, crocodile and emu, whilst the locals just love their steaks and seafood.

For lunch Paddywhacks has a very popular Express Lunch Menu, from a simple hamburger or chicken, avocado sandwich, right up to a full blown business lunch including seafood platters and steaks. Paddywhacks is the only boutique beer bar in Cairns with 125 plus global beers and 20 wines.

One Wednesday and Saturday there is karaoke or discover the rock star within on Friday and Saturday nights with live Irish music with Beamish.
