The food experiences include a Cheese and Chocolate factory, as well as a tropical fruit winery, coffee plantation and Macadamia plantation. The sightseeing includes visits Lake Barrine, wet tropics rainforest at the Twin Kauri Pines and the Curtain Fig Tree, as well as the wet tropical savannah around Mareeba.

Food Trail Tours' "Food, Wine and Rainforest Tour" travels to the Atherton Tablelands to explore World Heritage Wet Tropics Rainforest while discovering what regional food and wine producers have to offer.

This relaxing "Paddock to Plate" experience, travels off the beaten path, onto farms and behind the scenes to hear the stories behind the foods, and savour their flavours.

There is plenty of time to excite your taste buds, with locally produced tropical fruit wines, cheeses, chocolate, coffee, and macadamias.

The sights include Wet Tropical Rainforest, the Curtain Fig Tree, Lake Barrine, and historic townships as well fertile plains, rolling hills, as well as dry tropical World Heritage areas not visited by other tours.

Experienced and knowledgeable driver/guides provide a comprehensive tour narration throughout the day. You will be entertained as you learn about the amazing Atherton Tablelands, its history, points of interest and the other foods it produces.

Everything is included; lunch, on farm tours, tastings and accommodation transfers.

Children: Child rate applies for children aged four to 14 years. Infants up to three years of age travel free of charge. You MUST advise about infants when making your reservation. Food and beverage is not provided for infants.

Disabled: Disabled guests must occupy a standard seat, and be able to get themselves into the bus. Lifting equipment is not available. Walkers and small, folding, chairs can be carried, subject to available space. Your needs MUST be advised when making your reservation.
