Crane Winery, a small family owned Boutique Winery and Bed and Breakfast accommodation, was the first winery in the beautiful South Burnett. The grand old colonial homestead and rustic cellar door perch high on the Booie Range with breathtaking views across the valley.

Crane Wines is just ten kilometres from Kingaroy, and less than an hour to the majestic rainforests of the Bunya Mountains, making Crane Wines the perfect place to base your stay while exploring all the South Burnett has to offer.

Crane's new Bed and Breakfast accommodation offers up to four adults a memorable stay in two beautifully furnished, self contained rooms in the old homestead. This winery accommodation is in a self catering style, with breakfast provisions included, providing guests with the freedom to relax and enjoy the property, the views, the bird life, the quietness and peace.

Cranes Cellar Door is the place to taste and buy from their extensive range of wines, including reds and whites in sweet, dry, fortified and sparking styles. Enjoy browsing in the cellar door with it's home made jams and chutneys, or try some of the very popular natural vegetable moisturisers made on the property.

General Comments

Cranes welcomes large groups and bus tours, but to ensure that they have adequate staff to make your visit a pleasant one, they do ask that you book ahead of arrival.

How To Get There

Crane Wines is just 10 kilometres from Kingaroy. Take the Bunya Highway north towards Wondai. Turn right into the Booie Crawford Road (about three kilometres from town), and right again into Haydens Road. Follow Haydens Road for about one kilometre to the bottom of the hill (unsealed road) and Crane Wines is the first gate on the right, next to Deshons Retreat. Follow the driveway to the cellar door where you will be greeted by the staff and Dylan, the winery greeting dog.
