Black Pearl Epicure and Cooking School is a gourmet paradise. Be tempted with olive oils, French chocolate, exquisite teas, rich smoked salmon, caviar, specialty sausages, truffles, imported Australian cheeses and delicious hampers.
Black Pearl Epicure Cooking School offers demonstration and hands-on classes presented by Australia's leading chefs. Italian, pasta making, French Moroccan, a bloke's class, barbecue, sausage making, Thai, cheese making, Spanish, modern Australian and cheese education are a taste of what's on offer. Maggie Beer, Kylie Kwong, David Thompson, and Matt Moran are among some of the recent visitors to the school.

ENTRY INFORMATION
Open Times:
Open weekdays from 0930 until 1800 and weekends from 1000 until 1600. Evening cooking classes finish at about 2200.

Children: They are a school, therefore if children are brought with parents they must be quiet and not interfere with people's learning.
Access Car
Parking weekdays in business hours in this area is two hours maximum only. Parking nights is available in Baxter Street and surrounding streets.
General Comments
Bookings are confirmed only on receipt of payment. They do not send written confirmation for class bookings. They are unable to refund cancellations, however notice of seven days prior to the class allows for transfers to another class or you may send someone in your place. The showroom will be open from 5.00 p.m. on class evenings. Classes start promptly. A buzzer is located on the front door for latecomers. Join them after class for a Merlo Coffee and chat.
How to get There
Travel north along St Pauls Terrace from city centre or towards city from the airport. Baxter Street is two streets north past Wickham Terrace. Turn left. Local bus/train to Fortitude Valley Station is one street from them. They can organise a hire bus.
