Description

An instant institution, Anouk opened to a full house for breakfast in February 2007 and continues to delight with an ever changing seasonal menu of food we like to eat.

The doors are thrown open early seven days a week, emphasising a genuine commitment to deliver the cafe we all wish we had ... following through with a menu that just gets better and better. Current highlights include gruyere, parsnip and thyme beignets with pan fried spinach and hollandaise and a mean nasi goreng with bumbu bali(don't ask, just try it), prawns, bacon and egg, peanuts and lime. Are you getting the picture?

Anouk offers a whole lot more than locally roasted coffee, farm fresh free range poachers and maple cured Bangalow bacon. Sometimes noisy, sometimes a queue ... always worth the trip. In a heritage building, with original bay windows overlooking the iconic undulating hills of inner city Paddington, Anouk is a must on any discerning person's itinerary.

Anouk Cafe, coffee from 6.30am, cooking till 2.30pm, seven days.

Further Details:
Anouk stands tall within Brisbane's burgeoning casual dining scene. Awarded the Courier Mail's Best Café of The Year 2011, Anouk carries forward a breakfast reputation built over a decade by owner Justine Whelan. The first run on the board was the eclectic and much loved Tongue and Groove Café, lauded by Mietta and the RCA most notably. The gunshop café followed to more accolades and was the spring board for a fresh generation of Brisbane cafes all setting a new benchmark. Seating fifty, breakfast and lunch seven days, Anouk also offers a fantastic backdrop for private functions and evening events.

How To Get There:
From the unmissable expanse of the Suncorp Stadium on Caxton Street, continue into Given Terrace, past the Paddo Tavern on your left and you'll find Anouk Cafe 50 metres up the street. Just shy of Montrachet Restaurant. The carpark is accessed from Guthrie Street - take a left at the lights and it's the first driveway on the right.
