In the picturesque Albert River Valley of the superb Gold Coast Hinterland, you will find the historic splendor of a colonial homestead. Within this historic landmark, their boutique winery is open daily for wine tasting and fine gourmet cuisine to complement.
Both the Vineyard and Winery are set high on the hill with panoramic views of Tamborine Mountain. Enjoy Devonshire Teas and lavish lunches on their spacious verandahs, or dinner in the spectacular Auchenflower Ballroom. Live Jazz is available during lunch hours every Sunday and Public Holidays.
Boutique Wineries, by definition are those whose wines are only available for purchase directly from the winery, such is the case with Albert River Wines.
As their wines are only available through the cellar door, mail order, and at select restaurants, a trip to Albert River Wines is a worthwhile experience, whether you are an avid connoisseur or casual quaffer. Albert River Wines are handcrafted in limited quantities by winemaker Peter Scudamore-Smith, one of Queensland's two Masters of Wine.

Open daily from 1000 until 1600 and from 1800 on Wednesday to Sunday Nights.

Children: Children are welcome, parental supervision is required at all times. Children restaurant menu and high chairs are available.
Disabled: Disabled access and toilet facilities are available. Wheelchair access throughout the main building and disabled toilets within the main building.
General Comments
Within the property's 25 acres there are two historic homesteads, the original Tamborine House Homestead, which was built in approximately 1868, and Auchenflower House which was originally sited on the highest point on Harriet Street, in the present-day Brisbane suburb of Auchenflower. In 1969 the house was moved to Early Street Historical Village, then to Albert River Wines. Auchenflower House has been the past home of three Queensland Premiers.
How to get There
Conveniently located half way between Brisbane (45 kilometres) and the Gold Coast (35 kilometres), with easy access from the Pacific Highway. From either direction, take the Beenleigh South exit and follow the signs to Tamborine / Canungra.
