Birdwatching: Various birds feed on the nectar and blossoms of shrubs and trees. Look for the pale-headed rosella, rose robin, eastern yellow robin, grey shrike-thrush, blue-faced honey eater and noisy miner.

Swimming: The swimming hole along one of the bushwalks lies at the bottom of a waterfall. The water is very deep. Jumping off rocks into the water has resulted in serious injury so please use caution and common sense. Please closely supervise children.

Walking: Explore Crows Nest Creek, the Falls and the Valley of the Diamonds by following walking tracks that start at the picnic ground.
