Description
Cooktown Golf Links is a public nine-hole course (with dual tees) situated just five kilometres south of Cooktown on Quarantine Bay Road. Constructed on a natural sand belt, the course is built in the tropical bush that borders Walker Bay and the Annan River. Located beside Monkhouse Point with the imposing Mount Cook as a constant backdrop the natural beauty of the surrounds make this links-type course a must for all golfers and holidaymakers alike.

Pets Allowed:Yes. Pets are allowed. Dogs must remain under the owner's control at all times and droppings are to be picked up.
Inclusions:
Juniors (under 18 years) at a discounted rate.
Golf Club Hire (left and right hand) is available for AUD5.50, and Pull Cart Hire is available for AUD5.00.
No child under the age of 18 is to operate a golf cart. Only two persons per cart at all times.
Opening Hours:
The course is open all year and fully licensed, but is not licensed for Christmas Day or Good Friday.
A golf pro-shop is available, and clubs, buggies, and motorised carts are available for hire.
Visitors are always welcome.
