Conondale National Park
Conondale
Conondale National Park forms the heart of an extensive area of forests in the unspoiled forests of Conondale Range. It is an important area, protecting the habitats of many rare and threatened animals, including the rarely-seen yellow-bellied glider. Starting on Booloumba Creek Road, take the scenic drive circuit and travel for a while through dense, national park rainforest. From the scenic drive, visit neighbouring Kenilworth Forest Reserve to picnic, explore the forest on walking tracks, or camp. Access is via neighbouring Kenilworth Forest Reserve. The scenic drive is gravel with several creek crossings, but is usually suitable for conventional vehicles. In wet weather, roads may be closed.
