Description

Situated right on the water with stunning views, the locals call it 'the best spot in town'. The Whitsunday Sailing Club has a great atmosphere and is the hub for sailing enthusiasts in Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays.

Visitors are always welcome and facilities include a bar, bistro, pokies, function and sailing facilities. The Galley Bistro offers great value, seasonally designed menus and an all weather balcony to enjoy the waterside location. Lunch and dinner are served seven days a week with a buffet roast every Wednesday night.

The Club has extensive social and sailing calendars with Airlie Beach Race Week and the Great Whitsunday Fun Race the highlights in August. A beautiful waterside pavilion is ideal for weddings and ceremonies and the function and catering facilities are perfect for meetings or celebrations. The Maritime Training Centre offers a wide variety of safety and sailing courses ranging from boat licences and first aid certificates to commercial marine qualifications. It is also one of the few places in Queensland to gain an STCW95 qualification for working on commercial vessels.

With a unique location and excellent club facilities, they invite you to come and visit when you are next in town.
