The Abbey Museum is a priceless collection of antiquities and fine arts from around the world, located in Caboolture.
The Museum has won international acclaim for the quality of its displays and the scope of its collections, from many different civilisations and cultures. Its European collections of medieval art have a premier place in Australia. You will find the Abbey Museum is divided into two halves. A time-passage explores the exciting history of Western Europe over the last half-million years to modern times.

General Comments
Air conditioned throughout the year for your comfort; free parking; toilets are available; visitors are welcome to use the gardens for picnics however no refreshments are available; shop and mail order service for jewellery, books, replicas, souvenirs, posters and T-shirts; use of the specialised library by request only. Staff will answer queries and help with identification of items brought to the Museum, however they regret that no valuations can be given.
How To Get There
For self drive guests take Bribie Island Road, exit off the Bruce Highway. Turn left into Old Toorbul Point Road, four kilometres from overpass. Then turn right into the Abbey Museum. For those travelling by train take the Brisbane to Nambour line to Caboolture railway station. Get on a Bribie Island Bus Lines bus to the Shell Service Station (immediately after Old Toorbul Point Road).
