Penguin Encounter
Visit Sea World and enter the amazing frozen world of Penguin Encounter. The stunning new exhibit is home to the world's second largest penguin species, the King penguin which stands almost one metre tall. As well as the agile Gentoo penguin with its distinctive bright red bill and long tail. The spectacular new exhibit features icy rock formations and a crystal clear pool. Witness the agility and grace of these incredible penguins from spacious elevated and underwater viewing areas. The new Penguin Encounter exhibit makes Sea World the only place in Australia where you can see King, Gentoo and Fairy penguins in the one location.

Castaway Bay
Visit Sea World and experience a world of family fun in the all new Castaway Bay interactive adventure zone. The exciting new AUD$6 Million family attraction caters for kids of all ages and features an amazing themed ride and fun filled child friendly play areas. The kids will love the splashtacular Battle Boats ride with over 80 awesome water cannons. The little ones can climb, crawl and clamber their way through The Sky Fortress featuring five fun filled levels of rope bridges, tunnels and much more. And for the dare devils, the Sky Climb* will test bravery and balance on a thrilling course twelve metres above the ground. Sea World's Castaway Bay is an adventure for the whole family.

Jet Rescue
Join the Sea World Rescue team on an exciting mission to save our precious marine life on the all new Jet Rescue coaster. Climb aboard your Jetski and zoom around the amazing track, flying and twisting past pristine rock pools at an exhilarating 70 kilometres per hour. Then enter the dark and dangerous blowhole cave where a sea lion waits desperately for your help. Blast through the cave and release the pressure, allowing the majestic sea lion to escape to safety. Then return to Sea World as marine rescue heroes. Join the rescue mission today - they need your help!

How To Get There:
Sea World is located on Sea World Drive at Main Beach just three minutes north of Surfers Paradise. From Surfers Paradise take the Gold Coast Highway north and follow the signs. From Southport, cross the Southport Bridge, turn left and follow the signs. From the Pacific Motorway, take the Smith Street exit and follow the signs.
There are plenty of transport options available if you do not have a car. These include the local Surfside bus service on regular route, all major tour coach operators travel to Sea World via major hotels and accommodation, and Hughes Limousines and Regent Taxi offer services to the main gate.
