There are 25 displays including those describing police heritage, Queensland crimes, police investigative techniques, medals, police women, operational equipment and transport, among others.

The Queensland Police Museum is located across the road from Roma Street Station which is a major public transport base (Train and Bus). The Queensland Police Museum is also walking distance from the city centre (also accessible via public transport). There are car parks located nearby for those travelling via car.
