Brisbane and Its Outback Drive (Tour 6)

Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast Drive (Tour 4)

If you would like to visit the Gold Coast beaches then choose the Gold Coast/Surfers Paradise morning/ afternoon drive. Surfers Paradise is the heart of the Gold Coast and with its white sandy beaches, is the most popular beach holiday location in Australia. The fully patrolled beach is a short step away from cafes and restaurants offering delicious food and specialty clothes and gift shops. Choose to spend your time swimming or shopping at Surfers Paradise or continue south to beautiful Burleigh Heads, a popular swimming and surfing beach with great views from a rocky headland.

Scenic Mountain Rainforest Drive (Tour 3)

The road to Mount Nebo / Mount Glorious leaves Brisbane in a north westerly direction. The first stop is Walkabout Creek Wildlife Centre where you can take a close look at local birds, freshwater fish, turtles, reptiles, kangaroos, wallabies, brush turkeys and perhaps the shy platypus, sugar gliders, tiger quoll and wombat. The tour continues up the range and stops at lookouts with panoramic views east to Moreton Bay and west to the Great Dividing Range. The drive then passes through quaint mountain villages before arriving at the lovely Maiala rainforest at Mount Glorious. Here in the cool mountain air, the guide will take you on a bushwalk where you will experience the beauty of sub-tropical rainforest. Surrounded by Brisbane Forest Park which is 35,000 hectares of bushland you will see and smell the bush and hear the calls of some of their local birdlife. After the walk, it's time to relax over a cup of tea or coffee and some tasty cookies before heading back to the city via the Samford Valley.

Moreton Bay Breezes Drive (Tour 2)

This drive takes you through the suburb of Hamilton with tree-lined hills and lovely heritage Queenslander homes. They then visit the bayside suburbs of Sandgate and Shorncliffe which provide a perfect vantage point for viewing Moreton Island and the vast wetlands (nature reserve). After morning / afternoon tea at the water's edge your drive continues over the Houghton Highway to Redcliffe - site of the first settlement in Queensland. At Scarborough Boat Harbour see the trawlers and take the opportunity to view a vast selection of the local seafood at the Fresh Seafood Markets.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Botanic Gardens (Tour 5)

This tour takes you on a most relaxing morning/afternoon drive to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, located on the banks of the upper Brisbane River in a beautiful parkland setting. It is Australia's largest koala sanctuary with over 120 koalas and other native wildlife including birds, kangaroos, dingoes, wombats, wallabies, Tasmanian devils, snakes, emus and the platypus.

The tour takes you through inner city suburbs with beautiful century old timber homes, and also visits Mt. Cootha Lookout with its fabulous views of Brisbane and its surrounding suburbs.

Tamborine Mountain and Rainforest Skywalk (Tour 7)

This tour takes you to Tamborine Mountain, a one hour drive from Brisbane, where you spend the day walking through magnificent rainforest and visiting some local wineries. If wineries is not your thing, the itinerary can be changed to include some of Tamborine Mountain's other attractions such as bushwalks, lookouts, the Distillery, the Glow Worm Caves, or the famous Gallery Walk.

First stop is the Skywalk where you get a bird's eye view of the rainforest canopy from a secure elevated bridge that gradually descends to the forest floor. The views of the rainforest and Cedar Creek from the Skywalk are spectacular.

Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you continue up the mountain and call in at the Cheese factory where you can view the cheese making process and sample delicious, award winning, locally made cheeses. You may also want to try a locally made beer available at the on-site brewery.

From here they visit the local wineries where you can sample some delicious Australian wines and liqueurs. Alternatively, you can shop at over 70 art, craft and gift shops in the Gallery Walk, or stop in at some of the many other attractions on the mountain.
