The cellar door has a cafe, gifts and books plus artwork displays. Enjoy tastings of local produce including Mt. Stirling olives and oils. These products are also used in the kitchen where they cater for both meat eaters and vegetarians and cook gluten and dairy free whenever possible.
They have live music on some weekends with the larger, ticketed event, Granite Belt Blue, on New Years Day every year.

In 2009, Louise Samuel, the winemaker, was given the award for "Technical Excellence in Queensland Winemaking", the same year that The Gordon won the Best Shiraz in Queensland. The winery continues to perform well; in 2013 they received the Trophy for Best Queensland Red (The Ringtail) and Best Wine of Show (joint) with the 2012 Gordon Shiraz.
