Description

Established in 1990, the 650 metre Hervey Bay Go Kart Track is self drive from nine to 90 years. Tandem karts are available so Mum or Dad can take the younger ones for a ride. This is an activity the whole family can enjoy. There is a viewing platform for observation and photo opportunities and drinks, chips and a barbecue is available so you can stay all day long. Group bookings and private functions are catered for although a booking is essential.

During the warmer months their 120 metre waterslide opens on weekends and Queensland school holidays from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. The Waterslide is a fantastic place for children's birthday parties. It's inexpensive, easy and best of all the kids have a wonderful time. The slide closes for the winter season. Check out their web site for details and current prices.

Children:
Height and age restrictions apply for self driving - children under 145 centimetres tall and nine years old can ride in a tandem car with a parent or adult. Tandem cars have dual steering enabling a small child to 'drive' although the parent has the pedals.

Disabled:
Tandem cars are available for guests with a disability.

Further Details:
The Waterslide opens only for the warmer months of the year. Owners keep the prices low so that the entire family can have fun without breaking the bank. It is also a fantastic way to wear the kids out! The barbecues are free for your use so please feel welcome to bring along the snags and make a day of it. Birthday parties at the slide are very popular, however, bookings preferred.

The Go Karts are great for social, workplace or corporate events. With discount packages available for larger groups! Bookings for functions are essential, especially if you'd like your event outside normal opening hours. Each person riding karts must sign a waiver; those under 18 years must be signed in by an adult. Enclosed shoes must be worn. There are spare shoes, in case you haven't got yours with you, at no charge.

How To Get There:
Go Kart Track is located on the main road into Hervey Bay on the corner of Old Scrub Hill Road and the Maryborough/Hervey Bay Road. Very visible from the road. Five kilometres from the Hervey Bay's Main Street.

Group bookings and discounts -for more than nine karts. Bookings not taken through the holidays-just turn up.
