Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is simply the best place to see crocodiles and local wildlife in the North. With over 2100 metres of timber boardwalks and pathways leading you on a journey of discovery through woodlands and rainforest where you can see an array of wildlife, including beautiful tropical birds, wallabies, reptiles, insects and other native fauna. Children are welcome. Children must be controlled and supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
Disabled:
Disabled access is available throughout the attraction. All paths and boardwalks are wheelchair accessible, as are the boats. Disabled toilet facilities also available. (Crocodile farm and Cassowary Garden are compacted gravel paths and may not be accessible without assistance).
Entity Facilities
Restaurant sells plated meals and is fully licensed. Sandwiches, burgers, pies, sausage rolls, chips, ice creams and drinks are available daily.
At Lilies Restaurant guests can relax beside the lagoon and enjoy great coffee, a light snack or a delicious meal on a day to day basis. It is also an excellent venue for exclusive night functions. Group bookings for 35 people and over. Night-time activities can include crocodile spotting by boat on the lagoon, guided night walks and interactive wildlife presentations.
Entity Restrictions
Entry is subject to acceptance of the Conditions of Entry displayed at Reception. Special rates apply for students with identification, Australian aged pensioners and other categories- proof is required.
General Comments
The owners reserve the right to close the attraction in the event of cyclone or road access problems.
How To Get There
Various coach companies available from Cairns and Port Douglas. Details available from tour desks or place of accommodation. Attraction is situated 40 kilometres north of Cairns and 25 kilometres south of Port Douglas on the Captain Cook Highway, Wangetti.
