Baral Mardjanda - Aboriginal Guided Rainforest Walk is one and a half hours with an Aboriginal guide for an easy interpretive based walk through the Rainforest to the property's natural waterfall. Learn about the natural environment and gain a glimpse into Aboriginal history, culture and traditions. Includes morning or afternoon tea.

Julay Binalbu - Aboriginal Art and Cultural Workshop runs for two hours. In this workshop, you can paint your own Aboriginal inspired artwork using acrylic paints or ochre found on the property, while learning about the history, tradition and culture of the Kuku Yalanji people.

Walkabout Cultural Adventures - Half and Full Day Cultural Sightseeing Tours are half or full day tour with a local Kuku Yalanji guide on a four wheel drive tour, experiencing the local region, culturally significant sights, local history, culture and traditions... even have a try at cultural hunting, and catch yourself a mudcrab!

Further Details:
Daintree Eco Lodge and Spa's site is important in the local culture. The property was occupied by forefathers of the Kuku Yalanji people and used as a resting place as it provided spring water, an abundance of edible and medicinal plants, fauna, bathing holes, protection from harsh weather conditions and is adjacent to the majestic Daintree River.

How To Get There:
Daintree Eco Lodge and Spa is situated in the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest, adjacent to the majestic Daintree River. The property is south of the Daintree River and easily accessible - no need for a four wheel drive or ferry crossing. 110 kilometres north of Cairns (90 minutes) and 45 kilometres north of Port Douglas (40 minutes). All travel is on sealed roads.
