By facilitating innovative partnerships, the centre seeks to support, develop and present the finest in contemporary arts practice in the Far North. The Centre is unique in being the only State Government funded centre of contemporary arts located outside a capital city, and demonstrates the Queensland Government's commitment to developing contemporary arts in regional centres, and specifically in Far North Queensland.
