Carrara Markets are Queensland's biggest and best permanent markets.

With over 500 stalls covering 10 acres it's a treasure trove of the curious and the unusual. It's also the original home of discount shopping when it comes to fresh produce, homewares, pots, plants, bric a brac, arts and crafts and just about everything else.

For over 30 years Carrara Markets has been a major Gold Coast tourist destination. Carrara Markets provide a handy Tourist Bus Service which operates hourly every weekend from locations throughout Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach!

Carrara Markets is a popular family day out with buskers, pony rides, merry go rounds, bungy trampolines and face painters. And, Carrara Markets is now home to Luke's Reptile Kingdom. A breathtaking interactive show featuring dozens of Australia's unique and unusual creatures including very rare species and the world's most venomous snakes.

They have free entry, free parking, indoor and outdoor shopping, over 100 fashion outlets, over 10 cafes, six plant nurseries, tons of fun stuff for the kids, and a tourist bus service every weekend.

How To Get There:
Centrally located at Carrara on the beautiful Gold Coast, only a stone's throw from Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach - Carrara Markets is the biggest permanent weekend marketplace in Queensland.
Take Exit 77 off the M1 Highway and follow the signs to Gooding Drive and Broadbeach, or take Hooker Boulevard off the Gold Coast Highway. The markets are only four kilometres from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on the corner of Gooding Drive and Manchester Road at Carrara.
