Visitor Information Centre: The old Bladensburg homestead has been restored and is used as the park information centre.

ACTIVITIES


Off Road Driving: Go for a scenic drive along the 'Route of the River Gums' tourist drive in dry weather.

Birdwatching: Go birdwatching around the creek. Look for painted firetails and rufous-throated honeyeaters, two typical birds of central and northern Australia.

Camping: Camping is permitted at Bough Shed Hole, 14 kilometres along the road into the park. No water supplies are provided, visitors must be self-sufficient. Permits are required from the park office. Fees apply.

Animal Viewing: The park is home to a wonderful variety of wildlife, from kangaroos and wallaroos to dunnarts, native marsupial mice.
