Babinda Kayak Hire operates out of beautiful Babinda, which boasts the highest rainfall in Australia, is nestled in the valley between Queensland's two highest mountains; Mt Bartle Frere and Mt Bellenden Kerr, situated in World Heritage listed Wooroonooran National Park.
Permanently flowing mountain streams provide a rare opportunity to experience the beauty of Mother Nature's masterpiece; Take some friends, hire some kayaks and take in the experience at your own pace and in your own time. Stop for lunch on a secluded beach, go for a swim and a snorkel or just enjoy the scenery. Babinda Creek's pristine, crystal clear water is teaming with fish, turtles and the elusive Platypus.
You will enter the creek at the hire location, take your choice of half day or full day hire, then the creek is yours! When you arrive at the pick up point, clearly marked by over head bridges, you and the kayaks will be picked up and you'll be taken back to your car. Paddle time is approximately three and a half hours slow paddle. A map will be provided.
