They have a world class fleet of yachts, that are well maintained, crews who are great with people, plus extremely competent sailors. They commenced operations in 1985 - longest established fully crewed live-aboard sailing operator in The Whitsundays, carrying approximately 16,000 guests per year. The company is owner operated and has two operating divisions.

How To Get There:
Airlie Beach is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and Whitsunday Islands. When planning travel, please allow sufficient time to check in for a briefing at their office in Airlie Beach. Please check-in two and a half hours before your departure time.

Solway Lass

Originally named Stina. In 1905 sold and renamed to ""Adolf"", working in and around the Baltic and North Sea. In 1915 seized as a prize of war by the British and used as a Q-Ship during WWI. At the end of WWI, worked as a coal, produce and stone carrying vessel between Liverpool and Scottish Ports. In 1924 sold to a Scottish firm in the Solway Firth where she was renamed Solway Lass. When WWII broke out the Germans seized SL as a prize of war where she was used to supply their armed forces. During the war SL hit a mine and was badly damaged, however the Germans repaired the hull because SL was useful as a sail-powered icebreaker. After WWII SL served in the South Pacific as a Cargo Vessel. In 1983 a Sydney businessman purchased SL in Fjii. From 1983 to 1985 SL was rebuilt and in 1988 took pride of place in the 1st Fleet re-enactment of the tall ships into Sydney Harbour.

Whitsunday Magic

Whitsunday Magic is a purpose built Mediterranean Style three masted Schooner offering a three day and three night island cruise or Outer Reef Cruise. Guests experience comfort and style on the Whitsunday's largest and most unique live-aboard sailing vessel. Features include 15 air conditioned and ensuited guest cabins, formal dining room and bar, large aft shaded lunch/viewing deck, cabin top observation and sun deck with sunbeds, glass bottom tender for coral and reef viewing, services of the Captain, Purser, Chef and crew.

This tour is also available as a combined six day and six night Outer Reef and Island Itinerary. Please note the six night option consists of two three day and three night cruises.
