The Fryer Library is the branch of The university of Queensland Library responsible for special collections. Its collections include rare books, ephemera, manuscripts and photographs. Its particular strengths are in Australian literature and especially literary manuscripts, history and political culture with an emphasis on Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies, theatre, art and architecture.
