There is an exciting children's trail in the museum where cartoon characters invite inquisitiveness and exploration of subjects through active learning and hands on experiences.

Disabled:
The Centre is totally accessible to people with disabilities with ramps where necessary and appropriate toilet facilities.

General Comments

Set in the dynamic environment of Toowoomba's newest museum, this venue offers conference/meeting facilities with a twist. Offer your participants the chance for a unique experience, combining their meeting/conference with an opportunity to explore the history of Transport and Main Roads and its contributions to the economic, social and rural development of Queensland.

A kitchenette is accessible from the theatre with tea and coffee making facilities, including an urn and bar fridge. If you require catering, please make your own arrangements. Their friendly staff will be able to assist you.

The onsite technical equipment includes a data projector with wireless connectivity to a laptop, a DVD player with excellent 5.1 audio system, a lectern, and a wireless pointers/remote control

How To Get There

Travelling west from the city centre, follow the Warrego Highway along James and Tor Streets. Turn left along Taylor Street until you reach Greenwattle Street. Turn right, follow Greenwattle Street to the end and turn left into Mutze Street. The Transport and Main Roads Heritage Centre is on the left, directly opposite the Toowoomba Airport Terminal and carpark.
