Description
The Drovers Camp Festival is a unique outback flavoured festival. Come to yarn with the old drovers and hear their amazing stories. Enjoy listening to good Australian country music all week end! Catch the action at the bronco branding competition. See the beautiful art display and be fascinated by the historical displays of the droving history of Northern Australia. Check out the beautiful waterholes on the Georgina Rivers and catch a glimpse of some of Australia's beautiful birds and kangaroos while you are there! This year's event will feature a Whipcracking Competition with prize money up for grabs!
Come along and enjoy a fun weekend for all!

How To Get There:
The Drovers Camp Festival is located approximately one kilometre from Camooweal, on the Barkly highway between Mount Isa and Camooweal (189 kilometres from Mount Isa). The access road is on the cemetery road to the left hand side as you travel from Mount Isa. There are two large highway signs on both ends of the block. There is also signage along the roadside from Mount Isa to Camooweal as well as from Camooweal to the Northern Territory border for visitors travelling from these directions.
