St Stephens Catholic Cathedral in Brisbane city is a 19th Century, neo-Gothic building with a modern extension built in 1989. The cathedral houses striking sculptures and a memorable collection of nineteenth century stained glass windows from Germany, France, England and Ireland. The neighbouring Pugin Chapel was Queensland's first church and was built in 1850.

General Comments
St Stephens Cathedral is located within walking distance from the Queen Street Mall in the City Centre. There is ample public transport to the city centre by bus, train or CityCat, and for those travelling by car, off-street parking is also available.
Group Tours are available by prior arrangement. Daily Tours are at 10.30am. Monday to Friday and after masses each Sunday.
