Shakespeare Alfresco! Experience the thrill of live performance in the great outdoors at the University of Southern Queensland's annual Shakespeare in the Park Festival.
Attracting in excess of 50,000 theatre-goers since its inception in 2004, the Festival continues to grow and evolve each year.

Other events on the Festival program include the popular school and community project, 'To Glee or Not to Glee'; Shakespeare on Screen; a Twilight Shakespeare Talk; touring workshops; and a retrospective exhibition of the Festival.

How To Get There
Getting to Toowoomba - travel west from Brisbane, along the Warrego Highway, through the fertile Lockyer Valley, up and over the Great Dividing Range into Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.
Travel east from Roma, along the Warrego Highway, through the townships of Miles and Chinchilla.
Travel south from Kingaroy, along the Country Way and pass through the towns and hamlets of Cooyar, Crows Nest and Highfields, or travel north from Warwick and Stanthorpe, the wine capital of Queensland.
The University's Toowoomba campus is located on the southern end of West Street and the Festival site is on the front lawn.
