School Holiday program is free with Reef HQ Aquarium general admission or membership. A gold coin donation is appreciated with all monies going to the Reef HQ Aquarium Turtle Hospital. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Bookings are not required for groups less than ten. School Holiday program varies and applies to Queensland school holidays only. Reef education programs available for groups all year round. (bookings necessary). Experience the reef at night with the Reef Sleep Program. Children of all ages welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult.

Yes. Registered companion dogs welcome. Must be clearly identified in appropriate dress and harness. Due to health and safety recommendations, companion dogs not allowed in cafe area, prior arrangements can be made.

Reef HQ Aquarium is located at 2-68 Flinders Street East, Townsville, next door to the Museum of Tropical Queensland.
Reef HQ Aquarium is within easy walking distance from Flinders Mall and the Magnetic Island ferry terminals and Greyhound terminal.
Free parking is available along the Strand or paid parking adjacent to Reef HQ Aquarium and the Museum of Tropical Queensland.
