The 2011 floods affected much of Queensland, and now over two years later, Queensland artist Deb Mostert brings stories of loss and redemption into focus through the exhibition Recovery: The Flood Objects Project. Recovery: The Flood Objects Project also includes objects from Rockhampton residents that were found in the 2011 clean up. In this new gallery setting, these belongings are now given new life, and seen alongside Mostert's paintings, this exhibition speak of loss, hope and, ultimately, recovery.
