Description
The Queensland Maritime Museum presents the stories and history of the maritime industry in Queensland. The museum features the warship Diamantina, the 1925 steam tug Forceful, the South Brisbane Dry Dock, and a large collection of exhibits. Visitors can climb aboard and explore a decommissioned Navy frigate or take one of the regular river-bay trips offered by the SS Forceful.

Close to South Bank Rail Station, and the Cultural Centre Bus Way and within walking distance from the city centre. The Maritime Museum is also located close to the CityCat terminals. For those people travelling by car, there is off-street parking. Group tours are available by request and prior arrangement.
