The Mary River Festival is an opportunity for a playful celebration of the unique environment and vibrant communities that exists along the Mary River. Their mission is to increase the awareness of the unique Mary River environment through recreation and celebration. Headlined this year by Cheap Fakes, Mary River Festival is going to be a day full of great music, great atmosphere and great fun for everyone. Entertainment for the day features Hat Fitz and Cara, Terry the Great, Barry Charles and the Deeper Beat, Kate Meehan, Cleveland Blues and Carl Lynch and Zumba with Cathy Tapper. The festival will have workshops, stalls, talks, displays, kid's activities, music, jam tent, storytelling tent, food, local produce displays, art exhibitions, Environment awards, and lots more.
Children are welcome.
How To Get There
If coming from Gympie take the Mary Valley Highway south and follow signs to Kandanga. If coming from the Sunshine Coast head north along Bruce Highway and turnoff at Imbil/Lake Borumba turnoff or Amamoor. Follow signs to Imbil and then Kandanga.
A donation is appreciated upon entry to the festival.
