Description
The Kunmurri (Rainbow Serpent) Artist Trail is a detailed map tour in booklet form that you can follow at your own pace. The only trail like it in the central and south west of Queensland, it details sites of cultural and artistic significance from galleries in town to the artist studio out on an isolated property. Filled with information including maps, contacts and vital statistics like vehicle access and camping availability, it has all the art appreciator could want to enjoy art in the bush! Instead of bringing art to you, why not come out and explore for yourself!

General Comments
Start and finish where you like, guide yourself using the booklet through the culturally diverse outback! There are two weeks every year where everything is guaranteed to be open - 17 to 23 June 2011 and 22 August to 28 August 2011.

The booklet details things to see on the trail - each destination has it's own admission costs (some free, some not), facilities and access. They suggest contacting the places you wish to visit on the trail to ascertain whether or not it is suitable.
