General Comments

During your visit to Kuku Yalanji Country in Mossman, just north of Cairns in Australia's Far North Queensland, you can create an authentic Aboriginal
souvenir of your own whilst listening and sharing the culture with local Aboriginal artist in residence and co-owner of Janbal Gallery, Brian "Binna"
Swindley.

Binna's work is inspired by Kuku Yalanji country; its animals, Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics Rainforests. Binna's contemporary style combines traditional
Aboriginal techniques, concepts and stories that have been handed down within his family for generations with modern mixed media and textured finishes to create stunning original art works that have been sought after by private clients and collectors from all over the world.

Take home with you a true Aboriginal Art Experience that you too can share.

While learning about the Kuku Yalanji history and culture, local Aboriginal Artist - Binna will show you the intricate detail and designs used in the art of the Kuku Yalanji people.

No previous art experience is required. All workshops are suitable for all ages including children.

All your art supplies and ongoing tuition by the Aboriginal artist in residence "Binna" is included.

Entry to the Gallery is free of charge. Costs are incurred for workshops.
