Description

This is the first exhibition in an alternate biennial series to the hugely successful Living Treasures Series, where the emphasis within the exhibition will be on the material (clay), rather than a singular artist.

Hyperclay investigates the field of ceramics, focusing on new attitudes, techniques and technologies that are being embraced by artists in the 21st century. A the prefix, 'Hyper' suggests, Hyperclay presents clay based work where the medium has been amplified, extended and intensified.
