Four Wheel Drives are recommended for the Dowling Track. Conventional vehicles can travel with caution and subject to weather conditions.

Highlights of the Dowling Track include: Historical Cobb and Co Hotels, Currawinya National Park, Opal Fossicking and the Hydro Power Display. The track is 567 kilometres long and should take approximately two days to complete.
