Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. Australians recognise this day as an occasion of national commemoration when they can reflect on the many different meanings of war.
The Agnes Water / 1770 dawn service will begin at Rock Latino Cafe at 5.00am for coffee, with the service to begin at 6.00am at the Agnes Water Cenotaph at Endeavour Plaza. Breakfast will be held from 7.00am at Agnes Water Tavern.... more
A community memorial service will also be held at Agnes Water Tavern from 9.45am beginning with a march to the Agnes Water Cenotaph with the service to begin at 10.30am. Morning Tea and activities will be held at the Tavern following this service.... less
