Adventure Moreton Island is a new tour operation, which offers one day or overnight activity packages, departing 20 minutes from the Brisbane International Airport. Their packages range from adrenalin pumping to water-based adventure. Leaving from Brisbane's Holt Street Wharf, Adventure Moreton Island operates out of Tangatours, which is located at the pristine Tangalooma Island Resort. This allows their guests to have full use of the resort facilities, along with their chosen package option. With its tranquil, clear blue waters and abundant marine life, Moreton Island is a must do adventure activity.

How To Get There:
How to get to Moreton Island: The departure point of the ferry to Tangalooma, Moreton Island is at Holt Street Wharf, Pinkenba, Brisbane. Check-in is 30 minutes prior to departure and the journey out to Tangalooma takes approximately 75 minutes. The ferry departs daily at 7.30 a.m. (Occasionally 7.00 a.m.) The ferry returns from Tangalooma to Brisbane at 4.00 p.m. How to get to the ferry: Holt Street Wharf is situated approximately two kilometres from the Gateway Bridge on the north side of the Brisbane River. Adventure Moreton Island offers return transfers to the ferry for AUD35.00, or alternatively, you can choose to make your own way to the terminal.

Whether you are an Introductory or Certified diver, Adventure Moreton Island has a dive to suit you! The Tangalooma Wrecks are Moreton Islands Premier dive location. With 15 purposely sunk ship wrecks, you are guaranteed a dive teeming with reef fish and corals that have formed on the wrecks since 1963. You can expect to see wobbegongs, trevally, kingfish, dugongs, sea turtles, yellowtail, dolphins, tuna and an abundance of tropical reef fish.
