Children:
Children are welcome on the Tall Ship Solway Lass on the proviso that the children do not disturb other guests. The confinement of a boat can echo noise and parents must be advised that the comfort of all guests is important. Children are not allowed to run around the ship unsupervised. The parents must provide a suitable life-vest that is to be worn while the child is on deck. From previous experience, parents with children have thoroughly enjoyed their tour and the children are in awe of the surrounds. Plus the crew let the children become involved with helping to pull ropes and the like which the children enjoy.

Cancellation Information:
Cancellations must be notified 72 hours in advance otherwise full trip charges will apply. It's highly recommended that you obtain travel insurance to protect against last minute cancellations. Postponement/Transfer of a trip will be allowed 72 hours prior to departure. Postponement/transfer within 72 hours of departure will be considered based on the merit of the circumstances causing the postponement and availability on departures. Hotel Pick-up:
Courtesy bus pickups are provided from local accommodation to and from the Marina for Solway Lass and Whitsunday Magic.

Tariff Information:
The Solway Lass provides share accommodation, however private double/twin accommodation is available at an extra charge of AUD40.00 for adults and concession. Discount cards from Youth Hostel Australia, VIP Backpackers and Nomads are accepted, however these cards must be represented and card number recorded to obtain discount. Wet Suits and snorkelling equipment are included. Scuba Diving is available as an optional extra.

If you are travelling on a budget, or have limited time, their two day one night sailing adventure aboard a Maxi Racing Yacht may be just for you. The vessels have been extensively refitted to accommodate up to 22 guests and two crew in open plan accommodation, double or single berths are available. Their vessel Hammer does have a private double with shared bathroom facilities available. There's also a large saloon/dining area downstairs, plus a large fully shaded cockpit on deck. These Maxi Yachts still sail fast, so they can get to the islands quickly, which means guests get to see more in just two days.

Visit Whitehaven Beach, plus sail to the northern end of the Whitsundays for snorkelling. Introductory and certified diving is available as an optional extra.
