You will spend the morning in the lab assisting with the dissection of a dead turtle to analyse the content that have contributed to the turtle's death. Then, you will survey the shoreline for waste, record, and catalogue the results and collect and remove any waste that could wash back into the ocean and harm animal populations.

The day starts at 7:30am and finishes at 5:30pm. The cost for the day includes ferry transfers to and from the island, buffet lunch, activities for the day as well as a contribution towards the science and research.

2012 team dates are May 18, October 19 and November 20.
