Thunderbird Park on Tamborine Mountain takes adventure holidays to the top. This magnificent property is about an hour's drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Explore the natural bushland along the walking tracks, see hundreds of colourful birds, Australian native animals and rare plants. Lucky visitors may catch a glimpse of Plato the Platypus, Thunderbird Park's most elusive resident.

Choose a shaded campsite for tents and vans in the natural bushland or on the banks of tumbling Cedar Creek. All campsites have a fire pit for cooking and easy access to well maintained amenities.

How To Get There:
From Brisbane Motorway 1 (the Pacific Highway) south to the second Beenleigh exit. Follow the Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road to Tamborine Village (24 kilometres). Take the Tamborine Mountain Road to the east. Travel eight kilometres to Cedar Creek Falls Road. Look for the large sign post on the left.
From the Gold Coast Take Motorway 1 exit 57 and follow the road to Mount Tamborine. Turn right at the Gallery Walk roundabout and right again at the next roundabout leading to Eagles Height Road. Turn right at the T-junction sign posted Geissman Drive and travel down the road to the junction of Tamborine Mountain Road and Cedar Creek Falls Road. Look for the large signs on the right.
